As a solo traveler on a short transit stay, I appreciated the character of the building, and my room was impressively spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast spread was a highlight for me, featuring a fantastic variety of fresh ingredients that set me up nicely for the day ahead. the central location made it easy to explore attractions like the Bakelite Museum and Doniford Beach, both just a short drive away.

The room was spacious and well-furnished.
The toilet lacked adequate heating, making it uncomfortably cold during my stay. some of the lighting fixtures were faulty, which diminished the ambiance. Unfortunately, I also found the bed too firm for a restful night.
